Hip hop star, Remy Ma was sentenced to  years in prison today from assault charges.  Remy attacked a woman on the streets of New York last year, leaving the woman for almost dead and physically impaired for the rest of her life.  Remy tried to ask for leniency from the judge saying she had a young son and had made something of her life with music.  The judge was unfazed and stated Remy is a rapper with anger issues that need to be dealt with. 

Remy was scheduled to marry rapper, Papoose yesterday on Rikers Island.  However, the request was denied after Papoose allegedly showed up with handcuff keys.  Okay, were they going to bust her out Bonnie and Clyde style?  Whatev.

Remy M had been nominated for a Grammy with Terror Squad back in 2004 for their hit single, “Lean Back”.
