After almost a decade of silence, Jennifer Lopez is being required to give her recollection of the 1999 shooting that landed Jamal “Shyne” Barrow in prison and left three bystanders wounded. The actress and pop diva was served with a subpoena from lawyers representing Natania Reuben, the woman who was shot in the face during the infamous brawl at Club New York. Lopez will be asked to give a deposition about the incident as part of Reuben’s $130 million civil lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs and Shyne.

Lopez was never called as a witness during the criminal trial when she was dating Combs nearly nine years ago. Combs was charged in the case, but he was later acquitted. Meanwhile, Barrow is currently being held at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, NY. Despite being in prison since 2001, Shyne managed to sign a $3 million contract with Island/Def Jam Records in 2004.
