Hip Hop’s all starz continue to kick it in Cannes on Diddy’s yacht.  Newlyweds, Beyonce and Jay Z look completely happy and the Bey looks refreshed and giddy.  Good to see it.

There’s always a reason an American film chooses to open overseas first, and it’s never a good one.  The Sex and The City Movie has been premiering in London and Germany and receiving lukewarm reviews … at best.   Critics are annoyed by Carrie Bradsahw’s on-going narrative, that was so quirky on the 1 hour show … but not really for 2 1/2 hours.

I know Dreamgirls actress, Jennifer Hudson, is hoping for a hit.  J Hud has been noticeably absent from all the overseas press and it most defenitely not getting the royal Oscar treatment this go round.   Somewhere on the East coast, Beyonce snickers in silence …

While Jay Z and Beyonce are pretending to not be married, we have Rihanna and Chris Brown pretending to be ‘brother and sister’.  The couple were spotted leaving their New York hotel, seperately, of course. 

Question of the Day:
Why do so many hip hop couples act as if they are not together, when white couples usually flaunt it for the world and the tabloids.

While everyone is trying to out if our favorite newlywed, Beyonce, is indeed pregnant, Jay Z hit the town solo last night.  Wow, this is the happiest I’ve seen him look in a while … just kidding … well, not really.
